Juju: West african magic; spiritual practices or objects that evoke the power of our ancestors and spirit to manifest an outcome.
BAE: AFAM Vernacular; a term of endearment.
JujuBae is us.
JujuBae the embodiment and brand was an idea directly from the ancestors to protect black folks inherent right and duty to be the keepers and preservers of hoodoo/conjure and all traditional African spiritual practices. Juju needed to create content that was fearless with its messaging and a call to action to engage our ancestral selves. JujuBae prioritizes the importance of young people on this journey that we are taking with our elders and ancestors. It is our collective blackness, uniqueness, power, and combined medicines that makes a bae, a JUJU BAE...
JuJu ia a proud black girl millennial from Baltimore, MD with ancestral roots in West VA, Virginia, South Carolina, and Alabama. Juju is a spiritual advisor, medium, cunty-conjurer, healer, and BAE.
